I am once again thrilled to highlight a momentous occasion in the realm of ESG analysis: the inaugural CESGA Congress, set to convene in Madrid on April 3rd and 4th. This event marks a significant milestone, bringing together over 6,000 CESGA certificate holders from across 20 countries, a testament to the widespread recognition and impact of our ESG training programs.
We are honored to have Prof. Dr. Alexander Bassen, a leading figure in ESG academia, our CESGA Academic Director and Member of EFRAG’s Sustainability Reporting Board (SRB), as one of our distinguished speakers. His session on «The Future of the ESG Analyst» promises to shed light on the evolving landscape of ESG analysis and the growing demand for skilled professionals in sustainable business practices.
Prof. Dr. Bassen will not only take part in the CESGA Congress, but he will also join the CESGA Summit in Hong Kong, which you can now register for and watch online.
We are also excited to open registrations for the EFFAS ESG Essentials and DiAM exam sessions on June 24th, aimed at enhancing professional skills in ESG issues and digital asset management, reflecting the evolving needs of the financial industry.
Furthermore, I am honored to be reappointed to the IFRS Advisory Council, alongside Javier de Frutos’s appointment to the PIOB Stakeholder Advisory Council, positions that allow us to contribute to global financial standards and practices.
These efforts are testament to our dedication to seamlessly integrating ESG principles into financial analysis, in line with global sustainability objectives.

Over the past ten years, the CESGA certificate has emerged as the gold standard in ESG training for analysts.
